You Can't Beat My Meat Sauce

Meat sauce from scratch is easy. This recipe requires a food processor like a Ninja.  You will also need a large pot that can hold two gallons.  

Cooking tips: Don’t cook this too hard.  Tomatoes burn easy.  Add your meat last and cook it easy.  Ground beef can be overcooked just like a steak.

2-3Medium Sized Yellow Onions -- Pureed
3Large Green Bell Peppers -- Pureed
1 lbsCarrots -- Pureed
2 16 oz cansSan Marzano Crushed Tomatoes. SMT brand hightly reccomended.
1 16 oz canSan Marzano Diced Tomatoes
3 clovesGarlic. Put these in the food processor with one of the first three items.
10 leavesFresh Basil. Cut up finely.
1 small handfulFresh Rosmary
32 ozOptional. Sliced Baby Bellas. Some people don't like these, but I do.
Stop here and cook down the veggies for about 1 hour. Low boil. Stir Often. Do not burn the Tomatoes. Turn off heat on the sauce.
2.5 - 3 lbsGround Beef. Lightly brown the beef over medium tempature. Add and allow mix to meld for an hour or two.

Pureed Veggies
All mixed together without the beef (or mushrroms).
